Creating sustainable values

Today and tomorrow

Our promise

Transparency, accountability, and regular communication are the cornerstones of our strategy.

As a young team, we place a high value on protecting our planet and preserving our shared future. As manufacturers, we bear direct responsibility for our products and the resulting societal consequences. For us, sustainability is a holistic concept that equally considers ecological, social, and economic aspects. We regularly assess our impact as a company and develop targeted measures to achieve our climate goals.

The foundation for our sustainable business practices is based on the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

FAQ

What is our understanding of sustainability?

Our understanding of sustainability is holistic. We consider ecological, social, and economic aspects to promote a sustainable future.

What makes our products environmentally sustainable?

A reduced product carbon footprint through the use of recycled materials, FSC-certified and size-optimised packaging, efficient transport methods, and a manufacturer who acknowledges and takes responsibility for their environmental impact.

What drives us?

Intrinsic motivation. Commitment to sustainability and social justice can only succeed if it is properly understood and genuinely intended. Since early 2023, we have made significant progress. Sustainability is now deeply embedded in our corporate culture.

What are the key elements of our climate strategy?

The central element of our climate strategy is reduction, while supporting wide-reaching climate protection projects through a CO2e price is a supplementary element.

What reduction target are we pursuing?

We aim to reduce our total CO2e emissions by 70% by 2030 and by 90% by 2045.

How are we achieving our reduction target?

Primarily through the use of recycled materials and more efficient transport methods.

Why have we opted against compensation?

We have chosen not to use compensation because we believe that reducing our own emissions is the most effective way to make a sustainable contribution to climate protection. Offsetting external savings against our own emissions is not conducive to achieving long-term reduction goals.

Which experts are helping us with this mission?

We have an in-house CSR Manager and collaborate with experts and organisations such as the UNGC, SBTi, amfori, FSC, WWF, as well as specialised partners for reporting and decarbonisation strategies. Their guidelines are crucial for shaping our strategy.

How do we promote social justice?

All our suppliers are assessed based on BSCI monitoring and checked for compliance with our social standards. We organise anti-discrimination workshops for our employees with the regional diversu e.V. in Lüneburg. Additionally, we are a signatory of the Charta der Vielfalt.
